Admission
Once your assessment and insurance verification are complete, we coordinate your admission date. Many patients are admitted within 24 hours. Upon arrival at our Clovis facility, you will receive a medical evaluation, a facility tour, and begin your individualized treatment program.

Your First 24 Hours
When you arrive at our Clovis facility, you will be greeted by our admissions team and given a tour of the campus. A physician will perform a comprehensive medical evaluation to assess your physical health and determine whether medical detoxification is needed.
You will meet with your primary therapist, receive an orientation to our daily schedule and facility rules, and get settled into your private room. Our nursing staff will be available around the clock to ensure your comfort and safety during the transition into treatment.
Ongoing Treatment
Each day at Clovis Wellness includes a structured schedule of individual therapy sessions, group counseling, educational workshops, and holistic activities such as yoga, meditation, and fitness. Your treatment plan is reviewed and adjusted regularly by our interdisciplinary clinical team to ensure you are making meaningful progress toward your recovery goals.
Family therapy sessions are incorporated into your care plan, and weekend visitation is available so your loved ones can participate in the recovery process.

Treatment Duration
Medical detoxification at Clovis Wellness typically takes 3 to 7 days, depending on the substance used, the severity of dependence, and individual health factors. Our medical team monitors patients 24/7 throughout the detox process and uses medication-assisted treatment to manage withdrawal symptoms safely and as comfortably as possible.
Our residential treatment programs range from 30 to 90 days. The recommended length of stay is determined during the initial clinical assessment and may be adjusted based on individual progress. Research consistently shows that longer stays in residential treatment are associated with stronger, more sustained recovery outcomes.
Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) typically runs 2 to 4 weeks with structured sessions 5 to 6 days per week. The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) runs 8 to 12 weeks with sessions 3 to 5 days per week. Both programs allow patients to live at home or in a sober living environment while receiving high-quality treatment at our Clovis facility.

Visitation & Communication
Family visitation is scheduled on weekends during designated hours. Phone access is available during limited hours each day. Pets are not permitted on the treatment campus. These policies are designed to support patient focus on recovery while maintaining important family connections. Family therapy sessions are also available as part of the treatment program.
Preparing for Treatment
We recommend bringing comfortable clothing for one week, personal hygiene items, any prescribed medications in their original containers, a valid photo ID, your insurance card, a journal or notebook, comfortable shoes and athletic footwear, and a light jacket. Do not bring alcohol, drugs, weapons, outside food, laptops or tablets, expensive valuables, or unapproved over-the-counter medications. Detox & Medical Care
Our medically supervised detox begins with a thorough medical evaluation by our on-site physician. Patients are monitored around the clock by physicians and registered nurses who administer medications to ease withdrawal symptoms. The process typically lasts 3 to 7 days, depending on the substance and individual factors. After detox, patients transition directly into our residential or outpatient treatment programming for continued care.
Yes. Clovis Wellness offers medication-assisted treatment as part of our detox and ongoing care programs. Dual Diagnosis
